Our club is very active with the Great Lakes Section of the Institute of Food Technologists. We hold a meeting every year with a group of professional members from the GLS-IFT and have created job-shadowing programs to help expose students to the food industry. Other IFT events include the annual spring and fall meetings, trips to the Annual Meeting and Food Expo, and fundraisers. We value our relationship with the GLS-IFT and maintain a close tie with the program.
